For high school students, like us, we are looking forward to having our summer vacation, a much-deserved break from your academic activities, and with great weather – sunshine. But, It also comes with summer jobs. Here are a few jobs you can apply to:
- The Youth Recreation Instructor in West St.Paul. You will be responsible for leading the youth sports programs throughout the summer. The season runs from June 14 – August 15, 202, with 20-40 hours per week, and $10.25 – $12.50 per hour. The qualifications are: you must be 16 years of age, and available the entire season.
- SAC Program Staff in St. Paul. They’re hiring individuals that are looking for adventures, and there’s no experience needed. Benefits include getting to choose your shift and the number of shifts you want. To apply, you must be 16 years old.
- Parks Worker I. You can apply to one of their locations at the Parks Highland Golf Maintenance-864 South Snelling Avenue or Public Works – 873 Dale Street N. The primary duties of this job includes assisting in the maintenance and cutting the grass and weeds. Benefits include health insurance, sick leave, a retirement program, dental, and $15 per hour pay.
- Parks and Recreation Worker – Pool Admissions. This job requires you to do customer service along with the responsibility of working both indoors and outdoors, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in taking inventories. To apply, you must be 15 years of age, able to work from mid-May through Labor Day, and work evenings and weekends. It also comes with a salary of $12.50 – $20.00 hourly.
